Just wanted to introduce myself and let you know in pen to all forms of help and insight.
I'm batwing for therapeutic purposes. I tend to be a bit intense at times... more like all the time.
I'm trying to be more patient and appreciate the time to grow and cultivate things.
Thanks for reading,
Jo

Welcome! Gardening is great therapy for lots of people. It is definitely a good way to help train yourself that good things come to those who wait. But there is nothing wrong with including a few really fast-growing crops (radishes and baby leaf lettuce) in your garden, either. Getting your first harvest in a month or less makes it a little easier for us impatient types to wait for the slower crops. And since you are in Texas, you can probably get started with some of the cold-tolerant veggies now rather than waiting until spring.

OMG!
I posted from my phone and obviously didn't proof read my post!
I am OPEN to help and insight.
Batwing??
I'm GARDENING for therapeutic purposes...
Oh well...
Thank you for warm welcome. I posted my progress and a little bit more about me in the diaries forum. I'm struggling with one particular bed of broccoli and brusels.
I'll find the link and post it here as well.
And Laura I have started with a few cold weather veggies. Planted some spinach yesterday...
My Bibb lettuce is the most satisfying thus far! A few salads and a sandwich with the most delicious and crisp lettuce I've ever had!
Thanks again everyone!
