Grew green when ripe one year and Lime Green Salad among them. They grew fine, probably tasted OK if I were to try them blindfolded. But like indicated in another thread, I am afraid in this case color makes a difference. I just couldn't get used to eating them. A little bland, just didn't like them.

I know I grew green zebra one year, and another GWR on another year. Visually and taste wise I was un impressed.
Enough not impressed to not save seed of either.

Lime Green Salad has a different flavor with some tartness to it. It's a neat little plant full of recessive traits.
Dwarf Determinate Multiflora Green when ripe High percentage of tricotyledon seedlings
I grew a couple on the windowsill in 4.5" pots and got a fruit or two. Good houseplant size. It can get to 2-3 ft in the garden.
In crosses it seems to pass on high fruit count.

Sorry to be such a downer so early....0/10 for me on two counts: it is a green when ripe and it is a small salad type. I eat or grow neither.

Paul, for me green when ripes (GWR) are one of the best tomatoes. I really like them. The big ones as Malakhitovaya Shkatulka or Green Giant and the cherry types as Green Doctors Frosted or Grinch Cherry. 2 years ago I planted Lime Green Salad and I liked it also very much. It wasn't very productive but I liked the taste and it is a nice tomato to eat as a snack. I will give it a 7,5/10.

Haven't grown Lime Green Salad, but since you brought up Malakhitovaya Shkatulka - nice large tasty slicer, but oh the cracks! MS produced abundantly, planted as a fall crop, but every single fruit cracked badly.

I like most of the GWRs, but have not grown Lime Green Salad so can't weigh in on this one.
