hairymooseknuckles, Most people here do not do things like I do but I would just pull out and discard the extras, Gasp.... I don't feel the need to save every plant that sprouts. I do feel a little bad pulling them out but I do it anyway. I can only use so many plants.

hairymooseknuckles, whatever you do, I am glad to see that you are back to gardening. I know that you liked your greens last year.

I usually discard the excess, too, but I try to just plant 2 seeds in each pot, then save the strongest. Of course, sometimes more of those tiny seeds can drop in!
