These runs to doctors and hospitals constantly are wearing and dragging me down. I need pictures, please, of your yards, gardens, pets, kids, flowers, trees, heck I would settle for a picture of your left foot, but only the left one I actually love looking at pictures so if you are willing please share!

Being very old I now dote on grandchildren. We have six. These may have been on this site before but here goes anyway. caption: So what do Minnesota girls do during the summer? Play hockey of course. Our 13 year old granddaughter's summer hockey team Our 12 year old grandsons played in a baseball tournament against each other. The Viper from West Des Moines, the Trojan from Iowa City. They had to play each other twice; first time to a tie, the second time for the championship. Trojans won by a run in the bottom of the last inning. The cousins were still pals after the game. Both teams hung out before and after the tourney was over.

I just love day lilies and last year I took pictures as they bloomed. July is their time to bloom and they have just started. I look at the lily garden every day and enjoy the new blooms. Here are some of the colors from last year. The one in the middle is my favorite and I just HAD to have it. It is called Creature of the Night. It was new last year so this year it is bigger and is covered with buds. I planted it right outside of my window and it is tall so I can see it whenever I am in that room The one in the lower right is called Wild Horses and I not only loved the color but I loved the name since I am a horseback rider. Good luck at the doctor, Spike's better half!

paulf , I have a shepherd mix, the dashy, and a Pomeranian mix. The pomy is called Punky Brewster and let me tell you, she earned that name! Wife named her Pumpkin, but I named her PB. Most people are scared of the Sheppard with good reason. He don’t play around. You don’t live here, you best get to steppin. All three are spoiled rotten!

He don’t play around. You don’t live here, you best get to steppin. Our blind baby is the same way. He has a great sniffer and will eat you alive. My furry guardian angel!
Good luck at the doctor, Spike's better half!
Tests done, now we wait.

One of the very few moments when she’s calm. Every morning she wakes me up yapping like Dino from The Flintstones.

This was Margaret, our house bunny. I built her a long large cage next to the kitchen/living room counter with a sliding tray underneath. She got to spend a lot of time running around the house and I still have chewed carpet under the bedroom door to prove it. Tried to keep her out of places with electrical cords. Had to block off the back of the TV corner with plywood. She had a litter box that she used. She loved Castle, our border collie mix and got along with the next two cats we got later. Son's dog Hank when he was a puppy taking over one of the cat beds. Sunflowers in my son's garden in a previous year! Beach scene from our Mexican small town, not sure we will ever make it back there, town is changing fast, rentals are hard to come by.

Please keep those pictures coming!! One because I love them and they make me happy and two we are at the start of "heck" week. All this week is one doctor appointment after another with hospital procedures. The Phew is coming and staying at the house with our poor blind pup. But as I sit in one waiting room after another, you wonderful pics will warm my soul.

pepperhead212, sadly I have never had one of those. No clue what to do with them. What do you do with them? They mostly go into Indian dishes, but I have also used them in Thai dishes, instead of those pea eggplants - a.k.a. "bitter" eggplants. I'll also give some to an Indian friend of mine, but she'd probably rather me make something with them, and bring it over!
