stratcat: Learning to print pictures with the printer I've had for 24 months. Garden pictures, of course. Always running late... Aug 31, 2014 18:24:18 GMT -5
stratcat: Hi there, Laura. It really is an active time of year! ;) Aug 29, 2014 10:52:00 GMT -5
Laura_in_FL: Sorry I haven't been around much. I am busy with other stuff right now. I should be around more regularly in a couple of weeks. :) Aug 29, 2014 7:51:46 GMT -5
daylilydude: We need a swimming pool... B-| Aug 23, 2014 8:50:53 GMT -5
Laura_in_FL: It's okra weather! Meaning it's so hot that only the okra is happy. ;-| Aug 22, 2014 11:39:29 GMT -5
Laura_in_FL: DLD: Why ever would you infer that I was unhappy about having a quiet house for a few hours?!? Aug 21, 2014 8:31:15 GMT -5
Laura_in_FL: : (rofl) Aug 21, 2014 8:29:47 GMT -5 *
daylilydude: LOL... If you feel bad about that Laura... become a school bus driver ;) Aug 19, 2014 11:10:23 GMT -5
coppice: A neighbor bought somma that new super wrinkle remover. We suspect she may have applied it too heavily. Now we call her Helen, the Headless Housewife... Aug 19, 2014 11:06:37 GMT -5
Laura_in_FL: The kids are back in school today...the house is so quiet. Aug 19, 2014 9:05:35 GMT -5
daylilydude: bestofour, not sure how you processed the seeds but here is a great link to saving the seeds... http://www.kdcomm.net/~tomato/Tomato/seedsav.html Aug 19, 2014 4:24:31 GMT -5 *
bestofour: Is there a wrong way to save tomato seeds cuz after drying these feel like paper instead of seeds. Aug 17, 2014 21:30:57 GMT -5
elliemater: Hot, hot, and yet hotter. Tempted to launch into an excerpt from "Good Morning, Vietman!" on heat, by the late and wonderful Robin Williams. Aug 15, 2014 16:01:04 GMT -5
Laura_in_FL: Uh-oh. Unless they are beneficials, you can keep them! :P Speaking of that, I saw a weird insect on my car when I was out running errands yesterday. No clue what it was, so I made it a point to NOT bring it home. Aug 14, 2014 11:22:26 GMT -5
elliemater: This year I have seen at least 4 insect varieties that are completely new to me. This is not good. Like the brown marmorated stinkbug and the leaf-footed bug were 7- years ago...these new insects may be imports from afar that we have no way of controlling. Aug 13, 2014 23:12:44 GMT -5 *
Laura_in_FL: In the "learn something new every day" category - today I learned that the leaves of all Capsicum species are edible. Though most Capsicum leaves tend to be bitter, some types are actually used as greens in Asia. Aug 13, 2014 12:34:49 GMT -5
coppice: Cause I could ;) Aug 11, 2014 2:23:43 GMT -5
daylilydude: For what??? Aug 9, 2014 17:09:17 GMT -5
coppice: I'm holding my breath... Aug 9, 2014 9:46:02 GMT -5
bestofour: Johnny brought me a Snickers :) Jul 23, 2014 21:17:05 GMT -5
