Welcome Waya. Parrots huh? Cool. There's a parrot breeder near me. I'd love a baby but DH says he's done with birds after leaving the farm. Much Luck with placing them in good homes.

I might as well listen to myself talk and eat crackers. I have found when I listen to myself I at least get intelligent conversation and eating crackers I always have a bowl of chili to add them to.

After lurking for a while and almost getting caught by the phorum police, as I was exiting out the back door, that someone had forgotten to lock. I thought I had better join. That way when I am stopped on my way to the tomatoes, from the peppers, I can show my non-existant proof of membership. Some of you may know me from the neighboring phorum run by our good buddy, and mentor Phil. As my name implies, I create, build, or pharm compost. I am a Certified Master Composter, which means I had to sit thru 10 hours of class room instruction, and volunteer 20 hours of my time. I love to garden maters, peppers, both hot and sweet, along with cucs, melons beans and what ever else I can fit into my gardens. Yes that is gardens. I have two. I just finished building a raised 4X8 foot bed, for the hot peppers. I do all this in my spare time. I currently have 8 different compost bins, with different stages of compost brewing. From what I have seen, I will love this phorum, with all its good information and members.

Thank you for all the welcomes. It was a little painful going thru the process of registering. I had to select a different name 3 different times, until I found one that would be approved. Now I don't have to worry any longer about lurking and getting caught.

Quinnbee here, thanks for the invite DLD. Spring planting for us is about 8 weeks away, I'm chomping at the bit something awful to get back at it. It seems the world is going crazy, and the only sanity I find is in the garden. We grow watermelons, peppers, tomatoes, onions, beans, lettuce, greens, cukes, carrots....oh you get the idea. We're market growers.
