It's still really wide for me. Maybe it's my computer. How about you, Coppice?

Still when I look at NJT before logging in, I can see it all side-to-side in the window that opens in my browser (The post boxes just look narrower like in your screen-shot). When I log in, I then have to either use the scroll bar to move left and right or make the window full-screen to see everything left-to-right. It's alright for me. I now just make it full-screen after I log in to get rid of the issue.

The drop-down menus for navigating and my messages aren't working again. To access my outbox, I have to change the location in the address bar manually. Here are some screenshots that I'm finally able to get up. Lots of text cut off on the right. Slide the page over and I can't see who the poster is. Also, the drop-down menu with gear is not available. Notice in this post I can't see the Add Tags and Add Smilies. I don't know where they are. Whatever is to the right of Add Attachments is also unavailable. Oh, yeah, the page numbers aren't docking on top of the page as I scroll down. They were last week. When I get to the bottom, I have to scroll all the way up to change pages.

Hi, I'm back. I'm using FireFox 18 and I don't see that option. When I enter Ctrl + Shift + W , that command closes the current open tab or the window.

Hey, I see tonight, at midnight, that the Navigation drop-down menus are working; the message one's, too. The page number is docked at the top. Drop-down menu from the gear is working, again. Good! Oh, yeah. the Add Tags section is back.

The proboards team wants to know what "screen resolution" you are using to view NJT?

Ok, so this not being answered means that the screen problem is working?

Hi, dld.
My display setting is 800 x 600. If I change it to 1024 x 768, the page fits on the screen and the font size is too small.
This afternoon I took my 11 year-old monitor off and replaced it. That wasn't it, hehe.

Can you change the font size in your browser software? In Firefox you can set the minimum font size to any size you want. So you could use the higher screen resolution so the forum width fits, and then bump the font size up to a comfortable reading size. In Firefox, you change the minimum font size by: - Choose Options until the "Options" window pops up.
- Navigate to the "Content" tab.
- Fonts and Colors is about halfway down the Content tab - press the "Advanced" button on the right side.
- An "Advanced" window pops up; about halfway down you'll find
the "Minimum Font Size" drop-down button. Select the minimum size font you want.
- Press "OK" to get out of the Advanced pop-up, and press "OK" again to get out of the Options window.
Other browsers probably have options to adjust the font size as well. It's just a thought - don't know if it will help.

I don't have any problems with screen size, but the font is driving me completely batty. I find it really irritating that every word begins with a capital letter. Is this me and the settings I have? I would love to be able to make it normal.

I would love to be able to make it normal. Don't have that problem! My problem us with the auto fill setting on my iPad. It keeps changing what is being typed to what it wants to say. But that us a user issue. As you can see it changed 'is' to 'us' on me. One day, I'll figure out how to turn that setting off!!

I take that back. It just capitalized every word that was typed. It looked great until it was posted, Rich or Strat, any suggestions?

The page size is still a bit bigger than my ancient monitors screen is. But it is no longer 1.5 times my screen. There is an odd floating "up" arrow, that is cool in an odd disembodied kinda way . I can juggle font size no problem with Google chrome. Thumbs up for new post button at the top of screen.

Thanks for letting me know coppice... glad to see you here, been missing you in the forums. Yes, that floating arrow is a "back to top" button instead of having to scroll back up.

Okay, I feel bad for complaining...but where did the "New Threads" button go?
"New Posts" is still there, but I like to view posts in their native habitats...err, threads.

No complaints, just need to confirm whether or not I'm going as senile as I suspect... Did the forum pages get narrower in the past few days when Richard donned the Stevie Wonder glasses? Or is it my computer? My imagination? The Computer Gods tussling with the Gardening Gods?
