paquebot, I think that most people see blue bars on both sides and that this is intentional. I am talking about the size of the text within the actual threads. It suddenly became bigger than it was a couple of days ago.

I have a request about the edit function. If I'm writing, I'm editing. Is there any way to give us a 5-10 minute grace period so if we edit a post within that time limit, the 'edit' notation would not be activated?

Oh good. I like that change too. Many times I go back and correct spelling of a word and I didn't like seeing that "edited by" thing showing up. I don't see why it is even needed or relevant.
thanks

I would rather not have the BOLD. Or can I change it just for me?

An edit notation is important on some boards where posting can be contentious.... But a modest window for adding or clarifying content, or spelling is really great. Also for those of us who like to tinker with words.
So again, Thank You, Dude, for being so responsive.

The "edited" note is there to prevent some chicanery. On another forum, a member asked a question about growing rhubarb. Several of us replied. He then edited the OP to be dahlias instead of rhubarb. He then jabbed at us for being too stupid to know the difference between dahlias and rhubarb. Moderator ordered him to go back and restore the post to what it originally was. On the other hand, and due to something like that, there are some forums where there is a 24-hour time limit to edit. After that, only admin can make changes.
