Richard, I'm trying to put a finger on the problem but there is no consistency. I had to restart the computer 5 times to get to where I could reply. I can get to the top and then click on Recent Threads, Profile,, or anything. That's coming off the e=mail notification of new posts on the IncrediMail browser. I click on them and it totally locks the entire IncrediMail program. That does not happen with the IE11 browser. If I had to rely on that one for NJT, I'm gone. There is no way that any options are friendly to old eyes. But, don't beat yourself to death as it ain't you. Tried to access Homegrown Goodness via usual way and also locked up.

The double arrow is back for the benefit of those who can uses it. Don't care since I can't get it to lock up the computer. "NEW" also working for me again. No more fixes, pleases!!

What is the delay time here? If someone shows they are online, is it 20 minutes ago or more? I know different forums have different delay times. Does anyone know the answer to this?

I don't really understand this question.I have never heard of a delay so I just logged out and then opened the forum as a guest and it didn't show that brownrexx had been online or was online. When I logged back in, brownrexx was showing at the members online section. I always thought that our names showed up or disappeared immediately.

I wonder how the activity is gauged, though. I never log out, and I often have several tabs open, and maybe I won't go back to the forum for hours on that tab, so I am as good as gone. Is it through actively clicking on anything on the page? If there is no activity for a given period will it delete your name from the online list? Not that it really matters to me, but since it was brought up ...

I never log out either but I do close the forum window. If you are keeping it open as a tab september,it is not showing that you are online all of the time because I do not see your name as online every time I login.

The arrows work here, but then so did the fingers.

Between the arrow/hand thing and whatever the IBM update was, it has not made my computer happy. This is the only ProBoards forum that I can get past the first page. On NJT, only works about 1 in 3 attempts. Becoming rather aggravating.
