I'm not sure, but I will grow Cubanelle again probably not Aconcagua. Tequila hybrid has been very cute. They had the first bell peppers ripe and now they are coated in tiny purple and yellow peppers. Like "hey we can make peppers in fall, see?"

Ciao all-
I find the Hungarian white paprika types to be some of the sweetest: Alma Paprika, Puztagold, and Giant Szegedi were all quite sweet.

Sweet Banana, and it's a winner in my garden every year here! Even the kids love them chopped up an added to tuna fish sandwiches, chilli, spaghetti and other things, heck my daughter will eat them raw!

I only grew one variety, so Buran it is. They get nice and sweet as they ripen red.

I am looking for a bell that is small with thick walls and ripens red early. I tried quite a few this year and like north star f1 best. I also like yummy f1. I had low yield on doe hill but that was interesting enough to try again. alma paprika is one i will try next year.

The Jimmy Nardello's is always the best for me. Second would be Carmen F1.
Swamper if you want to try park's early thickset. I can send you a few seeds, it's a hybrid. I have not tried it yet, will for 2012. I grew socrates XR3 this year, the bells were blocky, not too big, and the earliest to produce. Don't have anymore of these, but tomato growers supply sells the seeds.

Sweet yellow banana is always good. My two other favorites are Georgescu and Giant Arconcagua. GA, when it is good , is very good. In an off year, it is not so good. I love how large they get as well as how sweet they are. I keep hearing about Jimmy Nardello. It will get a spot in next year's pepper line-up.

Red Marconi, they wait till fall to really kick in then you can't pick them fast enough. Mom chops them up and freezes them for spaghetti and gumbo and whatnot.

Nardellos always rock for me as well. Cubanellas were very nice. I ordered some seed for 2012 that is some kind of sweet pepper from France called Doux Des Landes Basque .

I really like Costa Rican Sweet. Bought it a few years ago from burpee. Big Red Sweet peppers, with a good yield.
