When making powder, do yo dry the seeds and grind them together with the peppers, do you think it adds more heat?

When making powder, do yo dry the seeds and grind them together with the peppers, do you think it adds more heat? I dry thoroughly my peppers, then place whole in the blender and beat into a powder. the process only takes a few minutes. I still have half a litre of red pepper powder from three years ago. The powder is sprinkled on selected food, and it is as hot as can be.

Yes, the seeds add more heat. Some people get upset stomachs from the seeds.

Duane uses a (dedicated, just for peppers) coffee grinder for his powders and yes, he includes the seeds. Some of our favourites for powder are Hot Paper Lantern and Lemon Drop.

I always add the seeds and veins. What good would it be without them?
