I need to do more sweet peppers this year. I've been in a rut growing just a few plants of ACE and then some Sweet Stuffing Peppers. I don't get many off of the Ace plants, but what I do get is beautiful. I'd love to find some bell pepper varieties that do exceptionally well in my area.
For hots though, this is what I'm growing:
Ghost Pepper (Bhut Jolokia) Aji Crystal Maule's Red Hot Bulgarian Carrot Pepper Serrano Georgia Flame Joe's Round
I'm still thinking on which jalapeno I'd like grow this year, and I may get a habanero plant for adding to salsa.

Ciao Rich-
Duane's still doing major databasing, so he's going to be a bit behind with his sowing, I'm thinking. As long as he gets the Chinenses sown before the end of this month, he should be in good shape. The Christmas Peppers are fun. He grew those one year.
Swampie, going to give Bonda another go, eh? Brave soul, those are pretty potent. I've thought about Frank's and I think D has seeds for that one. Frying peppers do pretty well here. Bells are more problematic to get ripe and really sweet. They need a long season like Rich has.

Swampie, going to give Bonda another go, eh? Brave soul, those are pretty potent. I've thought about Frank's and I think D has seeds for that one. I had good production from bonda last year and the flavor was excellent. The plants got huge. If I had to pick two chilis arledge and mariachi f1 would be my choices. I also impressed enough by apache's vigor, earliness, and small plant size to give it another try. I would recommend yummy f1 if you want a small very sweet pepper that ripens very early. I liked north star's weight and yield last year compared to a number of bells I grew. I have a number of eastern european cone/top shaped wax peppers to trial this year.
