Never made my own because a box of it lasts for about 20 years, lol

I know that, but I don't pickle any more, so they just sit in the jar and look purty

Do-it-yourself Pickling Spice: (Makes aprox 1 cup)
2 Cinnamon Sticks, broken into pieces 10 Bay Leaves, crushed 4 Tbsp Mustard Seeds 2 Tbsp Allspice, whole 2 Tbsp Coriander Seeds 2 Tbsp Black Pepper Corns, whole 2 Tbsp Ginger, ground 2 Tbsp Dill Seeds 4 tsp Cardamon Seeds 2-4 tsp Red Pepper Flakes 2 tsp Cloves, whole
Store (up to 1 year) in air-tight glass or ceramic jar.

Hey Guys Pickling spice combinations are super simple to create at home in just a few minutes. Make groups of the mix in advance for at any time pickling of foods and vegetables. Added to a lovely or high sodium brine, pickling spices or herbs protect while adding taste. Thanks!!
