I want to take my daffydills when I move, but they are in bloom now and will still be in the green stage when we move, so when I pull them should I plant them right away or wait until they dry out and plant them in the Fall!

I have clipped off the green and planted straight away.
The first spring after transplanting bloom was less, then they picked right back up.
Give em some poo and bone meal (or oystershell) when you transplant.

I gave them a hair cut when we moved and I guess it worked, they didn't bloom at all last Spring.
