Last year I had one of each plant in a big pot. I left the pot in the garage and the peppers dried and the new seeds are viable. Only I can't remember which plant was which. The peppers on one plant were larger and I'm thinking they may be the Bolivian 3 color. Any suggestions?

Phyl, the plants are apparently quite different in height if that helps? I couldn't find any decent pics of the Bolivian 3 colour, so I looked up their descriptions on Dave's. Perhaps you can compare this to the plants if you still have them in the garage? BTW, are you certain they died? Have you tried watering them well and putting them out on the porch in the warmth of the sun to see if they will produce new growth? I tried it one year on the farm with a roasting pepper and one plant overwintered. davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/119446/davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/54496/

Chinese 5 Color is a small bullet shaped bird's eye pepper - I'd guess it's the smaller one. (the white flowers are Arugula impersonating an invasive weed take-over of the pepper plant)

Izzy, the Arugula may be imposing but I think it Poses for a Perfect Pic! Lovely.

Thank you both, I'll have to go with the smaller peppers being the 5 color. Both plants I have are about the same height, one may have gotten stunted cause I tucked two in the same pot. Blue, I set them out early and watered them but no growth. Took a dried pepper off one(can't remember which one) and put 6 seeds in a container of dirt and they all germinated. I'm really after the 5 color so now I will have to start some of both ;D and mark them.

Good idea, then after they've grown you'll know for sure which is which Another observation I made from the pics was that the tips of the Bolivian peppers appeared pointier?
