Went out to inspect the garden this am and notice some leaves on my ky pole beans had rather large holes in some and some leaves were eaten 1/3 to 1/2 of the leaf. So I started looking and found quite a few little tiny slugs on the back side of leaf and a couple were even on the leaf stalk. I pull them off and destroyed all I seen. what do you all do for slugs eating your bean leaf ?? I read that "sluggo" is about the best method. Someone said beer in a bowl, but I hate wasting good brew!! Errol

I have also read that you can put upside-down flower pots around your garden. They’ll hide inside them where you can easily harvest and destroy them in daytime

How about diatomaceous earth? I've read a little about it and sounds good.

Hey! Who said anything about wasting "good brew?" Get the cheapest swill you can and put some in a saucer sunken to ground level. One of our friends posted at another forum that it really works. Lay down some boards they'll hide under.
