do you think it's best to do it in the Fall or Spring? DLD as south as you live, your gonna plant short day onions. I'd start them a few weeks ago and plant them post haste. You might've started them as early as September...

I would check out the Dixondale Onion site and follow their directions. I have only grown onions one year, which was last year and I planted transplants in late January. I'm planting my transplants this year the same and hope to have a good harvest like last year.
