I saw Bietina in one of my seed catalogues (Salt Spring Seeds). They say it's milder and sweeter than regular swiss chard. Has anyone here ever grown or eaten this? I want to take a crack at it this year. Tks! PS. We are having a crappy winter.

I haven't ever seen it before.
If you do grow it, please post a report. I'm always on the look out for more mild and sweet greens. Thanks!

Yes, I'll let you know how it turns out. It would appear that seeds are not widely available (yet). Now that my memory is coming back, I did try this years ago but the seeds must've been old or something, because the greens never grew.
