Watching the snow fall here in SW Missouri at the moment. I am in zone 6a/b depending on the source. I enjoy gardening and getting anxious to start some seeds indoors very soon. I am looking forward to learning from the members here. Thanks everyone.

Thank you izit. Yep, he got in trouble that's why he looks so sorry. I will be checking in from time to time to see what's happening with everyone. It dropped about 3" of snow here and is 28 degrees right now. No gardening today. Thanks again.

Thanks everyone. Gardeners are such great people to associate with. I am not into the complicated technical stuff with gardening. I do not till my beds but add organic matter on top and let nature take care of things. My beds have all been converted to aged wood chips (chipped green branches with leaves). For me, it makes perfect sense and works extremely well. I appreciate others experiences and advise and truly appreciate it. Thanks all.

Welcome, Dirtguy. It sounds like you have a great garden. You have a really cute puppy, too. I hope you'll post pictures when you're able to start growing again. We love pictures! What do you like to grow?

Hi Laura. I try to do a good variety of vegetables. We do tomatoes, bush beans, cucs, onions, carrots, peas, bok choy, lettuces, radish, swiss chard, spinach, mild peppers, garlic, various herbs, strawberries, apples, and flowers. Some other little odds and ends as well. I am going to give a go at a container fig tree this spring. But for now, here is my garden. Arrrrr.

w8in4dave, how to you garden? It's all good. Hubbs has a giant tiller On the back of his tractor , he lets it rip! But actually I think this year we are going to give gardening a rest. Ever since we have gotten our cabin up north. We havn't been able to "Tend" to the garden like we need to. And a friend of ours sells at the farmers market and they let us come over and get the stuff thats "Not Perfect" You know? The good stuff LOL So I still get my canning done and use the nice fresh garden veggies SO I am pretty lucky
