I'm thinking SC lives north of the latest earthquake. here's hoping when she's able she tells me to stop worrying.
Here is a good old fashioned "The earth is falling! The earth is falling" , there I feel better now.

remember I moved from the SF bay area, much safer up in the hills here, I did not feel that last one at all, but many of my friends were woke up by it as they have yet to move.
I am still ready for a major quake even though they are rare here,
the fire out here last week, or was that 2 weeks ago, was way to close to me, and still having a bit of a hard time breathing from the smoke, but getting better fast.

don't forget the fog, 2 hours ago i spotted a car on the freeway in the right lane just stopped, I am guessing they could not see well enough to even pull over, I could see about 30 foot, so I was still moving I dodged them, and so did the truck behind me... sure hope someone else did not hit them
also you could have started a grass fire in the lake I drove by in the morning, I don't think any water was even visible at all, but was driving, the ground is so dry that it is absorbing almost all the water so far

Good to hear you're OK. First, an earthquake, and now, torrential rains in your part of the country. My 88-year old aunt in California called yesterday and she also missed the flooding and mudslides. Great news!
