I chose this one as I'm growing it this year and would like to hear some reports on flavor and growth? Golden Cherokee

Ciao all-
Well Rich, if Golden Cherokee is the same as Blondokee, I'm growing it also for the first time. The fruit are an uninteresting unripe green at the moment, but I will say that the plant is fairly loaded, given that this one is a beefsteak and we've had a less than stellar growing season so far. I hope it tastes good when it does decide to ripen.

Hi. Golden Cherokee is supposed to be a bi-color sport of Cherokee Green. I grew Golden Cherokee back in 2007. One plant fit the description and was tasty on the sweet side. The other plant was an off-type.
