I'll bite. Reliable, tasty, pretty good producer, and the lack of spines makes it easy to pick.
The one downside is that it has to be picked pretty small - 4" or less - or it will get tough. In the heat when the pods grow fast that means you have to pick every single day.
It was the only okra I grew until I tried Emerald.

The old standard, what I'd grow for market. Or mass processing. With good fertility it will grow fast and produce heavy. The faster it's growing the larger the pods get before they toughen, but the market wants little pods. For personal use I like some variety. Reds whites and long pods are more interesting. But the long pods are completely unmarketable. They can get over a foot long before starting to toughen.
