I don't remember if I shared this here, but even if I did it bears a repeat. An article hidden in the weston price website. www.westonaprice.org/health-topics/the-quest-for-nutrient-dense-food-high-brix-farming-and-gardening/ I intend to get a produce farm going that uses all the tricks and secrets I've accumulated over the years to get super flavor and nutrition into my food. Make good food fun to eat right off the plant. Not boring and tasteless like most of the ag system offers. And so poor in nutrition it makes us sick. I want it first for my own health, (and eating pleasure) and then benefit others. I have a good background for it, my grandfather made a living growing produce, my mother who grew up with that was growing most of our food when I was young for several years. Which led to me enjoying that life. Her experiments with plants I still benefit from, and I've continued to study the subject, discovering the high brix ideas with Dr Reams research and others following up on it. I'm working steady on a project that will lead to having equipment pretty soon to clear some land so I can go at it. My mother made sure we had land to work with, even though it's a mountain side, getting it paid off 30 years ago. I think I can find as much as 20 acres in multiple spots smooth enough for pasture, maybe 5 for actual vegetable crops. Eventually if the world don't fall apart first, it'd be nice to get a place nearby with more farm land and grow larger crops of nutrient dense grains for bread. There's 250 acres close by I'd love to have, uncleared, but probably 150 would be good farm land. I'll have to develop the financing to do that, which is kind of in the works already, but takes time.
