I grew those one year for a lady I knew that couldn't tolerated heat. The flavor was very good - a strong jalapeño flavor, with absolutely no heat. Good production, but the corking was very pronounced, and started very early, not later, like many do.

pepperhead212, I may have picked a little early as I don't have a lot of corking at all... what do you think? We will be tasting and posting our review tomorrow after supper...

Looks great @daylilydude! Maybe they've improved the strain since I grew it years ago, sometime in the 90's.

Well taste test is here as promised... we will be adding this every year because as pepperhead212 said it has a strong jalapeno flavor with NO heat at all so tomato please keep these as it's a for sure we will be buying them from you as long as you have them

I am growing them this year and I really like them. Mine get the corking, but that is OK. I have let them turn red and I think they are one of the best tasting peppers I have ever eaten. I will be planting them every year.

Dayliliydude, to me, the red ones have a very sweet, full pepper taste pepper taste and no heat at all. It's definitely my favorite pepper right now.

I have a pepper that beats it hands down for flavor, but unfortunately only had one plant that I had to keep for seed. Remind me next year to see if I have any Craig's Sweet Purple.
