Does anyone have any knowledge of the Magic Meal flour mill? I see a model 91 and a model 100. I'm wondering if either will grind corn. It says wheat, but I can find no info about their ability to grind corn. I've searched, but failed to find anything.

spacecase0 My misspelling. Magic Mill The brand is no longer being produced. I see them on Ebay for sale, but don't wish to purchase one w/o more info. Unfortunately the info I have found doesn't answer my question.

ok, I still can't figure out for sure what mill you are talking about. to many of them use that name, www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw=magic+millyou can tell if it will do well with corn by the shape of the grinding plates, so give me a link, a picture of the grinding plates, or some hint as to what one it is, the price range might let me figure out what one you are talking about, is it $30 or $800 ? is it electric or hand powered ?

Thanks for taking time to help. I'm ignorant of these things.
I might do better to buy the attachment for my wife's Kitchen Aid

M&TK for what its worth. just about every kind of attachement that ever was, has been made to attach to a Kitchen-Aide, the problem is like your Magic Mill, some go out of production for longish periods of time.

I might do better to buy the attachment for my wife's Kitchen Aid that is a great idea, the Magic Mill III is an electric mill, and electric mills usually do pretty good grinding anything, even a 10 $ coffee grinder does pretty well on most grains but I can't find any parts or pictures of the grinding section of the Magic Mill III so I can't be sure how well it will do.

spacecase0 Thanks I guess I'll wait until the first of the year, as my wife doesn't know that she has a Kitchen Aid yet

Honeyville has a 20% off deal today only, and carries Nutrimill and Wonder mill.

I got the Nutrimill today! Saved about $48 on it (actually, only about $28, since I have found it $20 cheaper elsewhere, but not this cheap anywhere). I have been looking at these, probably for over a year, waiting to see some deal, and haven't really found anything, until this. I liked the Nutrimill classic for the simple reason that it is a single unit, while the NM plus and the Wondermill have a side container for the flour to empty into, taking up more counter space. All have gotten good reviews.

Great buy! And you have the hand crank version to make cracked grains, as well. You're all set!

pepperhead212 Yes, I'll need to buy a cup & filter for Magic Mill, once I visually ascertain my need. I have about ten lbs corn that I saved, and I plan to grind it ASAP to see how this works.
