It's only on the bottom leaves and doesn't look to be going any higher onto the new leafs...

Yes I'd be worried. How's it looking now?

Is this a plant that you're hardening off? Looks a little like sunburn. But then I would expect the upper leaves to also be affected.
What does the underside of the leaf look like?

Yes I'd be worried. How's it looking now? It's looking real good it was on just only the first true leaves... all the new ones are dark green. Is this a plant that you're hardening off? Looks a little like sunburn. But then I would expect the upper leaves to also be affected. What does the underside of the leaf look like? Yes it was but like I was telling bestofour it was only on their first true leaves... and the other thing that was odd, it was only on like 4 or 5 of my dwarf plants and they stayed under my grow-lights for a bit longer than all the rest, so i'm thinking that maybe they were just to close to the bulbs and had gotten burnt... maybe??

I've burned plants under lights before - it could be that. The reason I suggested looking under the leaves is that usually diseased leaves look worse on the underside - bigger spots, more spots, etc. But if it's a light burn, the spots underneath the leaves should look about the same or maybe a bit smaller and fewer than the ones on top of the leaves.
Regardless of the cause, since just the first true leaves are affected, you could clip them off when you have enough healthy leaves above. (Injured foliage makes an easier entry for disease.)
I usually plant my tomatoes deep so I end up removing at least the first set of true leaves (sometimes more) when I plant, anyway.

I agree, I'd clip off the burned leaves if there's no other problem and keep watch.

bestofour, Laura_in_FL, thank you both for the help, and that is what I done... clipped the bottom leaves off and buried them up to the next set of leaves... we will see what happens and i'll try and keep y'all updated.
