Are you talking about the texture or the light colored flecks?
With regards to the crinkly leaf texture, I think that's the way they leaves are supposed to be. With regards to the color, the flecks are so evenly distributed over the plant that I think they are just the way the plant is, not a disease or pest damage. But I have never grown that variety so I don't have direct knowledge.
It would be helpful to see the undersides of the leaves to see if the flecks look different underneath - are they bigger, more yellow or more brown - or do they look about the same.
Is the flecking progressing on mature leaves as they age? Or does it just develop on the leaves as they grow and then stay about the same after the leaves reach full size?
