It sounds good, I like ginger beer and gave up a vicious Diet Pepsi addiction over 3 years ago. I try not to drink my sugars though as it is harder to keep track of them. Reed's Premium Ginger Brew is my favorite, it's sweetened with just honey and helps with an upset stomach. I probably don't drink 4 in an entire year though. Mostly it's unsweetened tea with lemon, coffee black or with real cream, and water.

We made a batch this morning. We used the recipe from 18th century cooking with Jas Townsend & Son. You really can't taste the vinegar. At least when it's first made. I drank a cup when we first made it, so I'll see what it taste like tomorrow and then a few days later.

Well, the longer it sets the more I can taste the vinegar. I don't like the taste of vinegar. I'm going to make it again, but I'll leave out the vinegar and put in lemon juice cause that taste better to me.
Wife liked it, but for some reason she warmed it up in the microwave and added cayenne pepper. I'm still shaking my head on that one.
