I believe I have 42 varieties
Wife wanted to add some and I took a couple off my old list. I have a couple, but I decided not to try them this year. I might try a couple that Dr. C gave me. She gave me Green Doctors and GD frosted. As matter of fact, thank you. I need to check her envelope, there was something in there I really wanted to try. I'm getting awful forgetful lately.

I liked the Green Doctor's Frosted as a GWR cherry, almost a green honeydew melon flavor note. But it was the most deceptive little thing in telling ripeness, because it didn't get the amber tinge that so many GWR's do -- stays pale green, and you could only tell by giving them a little squeeze to feel when they were starting to get soft, at least until you got used to them.

I remember reading about the Green Dr Frosted, and the way it was sort of hard to tell when ripe. That was the only reason I didn't try it.

I've grown 15 of them and most did well here. What they do in Texas may be a totally different matter. Some with big fruit were late but that's no issue here. Even at just two plants each, still going to be a lot of tomatoes.

Thanks, hairymooseknuckles! I've been slowly rescuing my old pics from Photobucket and transferring them to Postimage. I found I have one more picture of Green Dr's Frosted cut up. P.S. Your seeds were mailed out this morning.

Vince P1 was a test cross by someone for one of Carolyn's seed offers a few years ago. I can't remember the parentage now, may have been something like Brandywine x Black Cherry, but don't quote me on that. I liked the flavor, but it was very prone to splitting, even when barely ripe. Some others that grew it out didn't care for it, but that's normal with any tomato!

hairymooseknuckles, there are always some that don't want to come out to play, aren't there? You still have a great list, though! You have a great selection of colors, sizes, and shapes to look forward to.
