Hi. My peppers have turned completely, thoroughly red, red as red can be, but only on one side, the side facing south. I've concluded that all sides of the pepper have to be exposed to sunlight in order to become red. Is that correct - or is it maybe a characteristic of this variety? Thanks!

The whole thing will turn red if you wait a bit longer or even if you bring it indoors. I have one in the kitchen right now that I am waiting for to finish turning red.

Tks to both of you for your replies. The reason I plucked the ones that were super-red at the front and greenish at the back is that they were so ripe they were wrinkling, so I figured I'd better cut my losses.
