Several cooler days, the rain finally let up and got into the garden. Six trips with a half bushel basket. Also got a pile of peppers...finally.

Good for you, paulf! Glad to hear some are getting their tomatoes. Mine are almost gone, but I can't complain, given how many I got early on.

that sure is lots more than me. this year is year of the birds for me. they have been eating the tomatoes, while they are green, before they are even close to ripe... my largest harvest for one day is about 6 tomatoes. grew amish paste tomatoes this year for the first time. and seems like I will not even get one of them to try.

My yellow ones this year is Herman's Yellow Heart. Pretty good, but they ripen quickly and get overripe easily. Lots of good yellows out there but I still go for orange varieties. Kellogg's Breakfast and KBX are at the top.
