i planted a short row (7 plants) of Early Girl. This evening late i walked by and saw pink. Upon examination I found a cluster of four tomatoes, three dead ripe and the pink one I saw. Rabbits one, I got the other three.
I did not expect to find ripe tomatoes so early after getting such a late start in the garden. There are more ripe tomatoes, but I did not want to tramp in the wet garden tonight---tomorrow the sun may shine.

Congrats. EArly girl is my favorite. It does extremely well in my area - almost foolproof. Every year I germinate lots of extras and give them away to non-gardener types, and they usually are successful.
