Chill a mixing bowl in refrigerator for beating the Heavy Cream.
Small squash cut into pieces Lime juice 4 Tablespoons 2 pieces Crystallized Ginger 4 egg yolks, Beaten well. 1/2 cup brown sugar packed 8 oz Heavy Cream
Steam pieces of squash for 15 minutes until tender, then let it Cool completely.
Blend it along with Lime Juice and Ginger, set aside. In a Double Boiler, Whisk the egg yolks and sugar until thickened. Then fold in the Squash Puree.
In the Chilled Bowl, whisk the 8 oz Heavy Cream until Soft peaks form. Then fold in the squash mixture. Fold into a freezer container and freeze overnight.

Sounds interesting but I don't think that veggies belong in ice cream at least for me.
I don't eat the hot pepper or pumpkin ice cream either. Give me vanilla or chocolate. I guess that I am a purist although I did eat lavender ice cream once and it was not bad.

I keep saying it would be nice to live within visiting distance to all of you. Nice for me anyway because I'd be tasting all the goodies you guys are making. You guys would end up locking the doors when you saw me coming and I'd be banned from the forum for harassment
