I LOVE deviled eggs but I have never used relish in them. I just use mayo and a little mustard and sprinkle paprika on top.

Seems like almost everyone always has the same recipe for deviled eggs. Any change is welcome, even with pickle relish.

Love deviled eggs...never thought of adding relish...vote is for non-relish made the way brownie says.

Have never much cared for cold eggs or egg salad. I think I'd like my deviled eggs with more unexpected flavors in them.

Mayo, mustard, sweet relish and paprika.
Base is mostly mayo and mustard. Sometimes have to do the added stuff to mix it up a bit like bacon crumbles or hot sauce etc.

Ditto to what spike, said, only we add a bit of horseradish, too.

I like deviled eggs lots of ways. Pickle relish is one good option. A few capers on top (instead of pickle relish mixed in) is also good.
Another way to go is with bacon bits and finely shredded cheddar cheese, maybe garnished with a little very finely minced green onion or chives.
A little bit of cayenne is great in nearly any deviled eggs recipe - not enough to make it hot, but just to tickle the tongue a little.
But since my MIL is making the deviled eggs for Thanksgiving, I'm sure it will be the basic mayo, mustard, and pickle relish recipe.
Nothing wrong with that. 😊

Deviled eggs on the table yesterday. I knew who would be bringing them and expected the same as past years. Totally different taste this time but I didn't have a chance to get the recipe beyond Dijon mustard. When I mentioned using pickle relish, all agreed that that sounds good. I'll look for a change at the Christmas feast.

I’ll take them any which way they are being served!
When I make them it is never the same as before.
Eggs and Miracle Whip for the main ingredients .... mustard! Then I look in the fridge and cupboard for additions .... May add some garlic or onion powder. Perhaps a spoonful of Salsa. Maybe finely chopped chives ....
No matter ..... they always disappear!
Horse radish sounds really good. .
