So every time I plant pumpkins, I end up getting powdery mildew. What can I do to prevent this next year and our eradicate it for the rest of this year?

Milk, 10 parts water to one part milk and dowse the plants. If you have acres of pumpkins ?

I spray my squash with a mix of surround and potassium bicarbonate early on, but eventually, the patch became so large that I stopped spraying in early August (around the 12th?), but they don't seem to be coming down with anything, despite the intense rain and humidity, and other plants getting fungal diseases. I'm watching, to see if it starts up - I just harvested another bowl of blossoms yesterday, and no signs of diseases at all.

I used raw milk, but I think any kind would work. I heard skim, but my raw milk was whole milk.
