I need a yummy salsa recipe to can for my daughter. She is allergic to garlic. OH and no I don't want to melt her face so spicy/warm but not blazing. Please and thank you!

spike, here is a link to one I have been using for the last ten years or so. It has been tested to be safe after canning, as long as you follow the recommended amounts of vegetables and vinegar/lemon or lime juice measurements. As is suggested, I use either apple cider vinegar or a combination with lime juice. And it is not very hot at all, as my wife is sensitive to too much heat from hot peppers. The garlic could be left out if your daughter is sensitive to that. Annie's Salsa

spike, is your daughter allergic to garlic powder too? Or just fresh garlic?

pondgardener, garlic in any form. How can you like live without garlic?
