Keto BBQ Chicken Rub 2/3 cup chili powder(probably Ancho) 2 Tablespoons monk fruit sweetener 4 tablespoons kosher salt 1/4 cup onion powder 1/4 cup garlic powder 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
leftover rub can be stored in a mason jar with a lid for up to 6 months.
Keto Tangy Sweet BBQ Sauce 2 Tablespoons canola or other neutral oil 1 Tablespoon onion powder 1 Tablespoon garlic powder 2 teaspoons monk fruit sweetener One 6 ounce can of tomato paste 3/4 cup cider vinegar 1 teaspoon kosher salt 1 teaspoon hot sauce
In a medium sauce pan heat the oil over medium hot till its warm. Add the other ingredients, reduce heat to medium low, cook for about 15 minutes until it thickens. Left over sauce can be stored in the fridge but always reheat this sauce before using.
Both recipes by Myron Mixon.

I made this last night in prep for Fathers Day cookout . The sauce is a little bit thick and tart but good, definitely better than the Sweet Baby Ray's that will be offered as an alternative(not my choice)

mgulfcoastguy, It’s got a lot of vinegar, so that’s probably why it has that tangy bite. You could fix that pretty easily, but then it wouldn’t be Keto. For me, I omit the vinegar and replace it with apple juice. Like I said though, it wouldn’t be keto.

The chicken was good. So was the pineapple salsa, besides tortilla chips I put it on a hamburger.
