We trimmed all the shrubs in front of our school and this beautiful vine was growing in just one of them... what is it?

Trumpet vine.
Other names are:
Campsis radicans
Campsis radicans (L.) Seem. ex Bureau
Trumpet Creeper, Trumpet Vine, Common Trumpet Creeper, Cow Vine, Foxglove Vine, Hellvine, Devil's Shoestring
Bignoniaceae (Trumpet-Creeper Family)
Very nice, and very invasive.

Trumpet Vines are so pretty, and they'll keep blooming all season long, so they are a great flower to have climbing on a privacy fence or lattice. However, they are also super invasive and will take over if you don't keep them in check.

You forgot "hummingbird vine". As a locally native plant "invasive" is incorrect. Aggressive grower? certainly... Not a plant that anybody wants in the veggie garden, but growing up a pine tree out in the wild? Can be a great plant!
