Floof! May just be a tad spoiled but he does love to be cuddled and rocked. The vet felt like his spleen was swollen yesterday so we are headed to the main vet clinic for a sonogram an x-rays.

That looks like a very useful collar. He sleeps so sweetly!

Thank you but sadly no. He has cancer in his liver and spleen. Vet says that he might have 6 months. I am broken.

So sorry to hear about his cancer. And sad that our pet's lives have to be so much shorter than our own, I hope he can be kept comfortable as long as possible. So much on your plate this year!

Let me tell you the story of my boy! His name is actually Hershey, which I always thought was dumb, but I didn't name him. I actually drove the lady that originally adopted him, to the shelter to get him. She soon found/got another dog she liked better, so Hershey was locked in a stair well and basically ignored. Oh he had food and water but no love and attention. After a bit of searching we found him left in a broken down pen, behind an abandoned house, with no food or water, right before a huge horrible storm. I think it took him about 5 minutes to become a huge part of our little family.
All of that to say, we have given him the best doggie life we possible can. He isn't gone yet so there is still much more spoiling to be found. His last days will continue to be wonderful and full of love, snackos, tummy rubs and cuddles in the rocker.

He had a rough start, a great middle, and hopefully an easy end before he goes on to wait for you.

Your Floof is adorable!
I am so sorry to hear about his cancer, and I hate that you have yet another worry on top of so many this year! But I know you'll give him the best of care and lots of love for as long as he is here.

Sad to hear. I just got back from the vet ,mine drank contaminated water or ate cat poop. He lost 9 pounds but at least he can be treated.

spike, I am so sorry to hear about Hershey's passing. I know how that hurts. But at least now he is no longer in pain. Take comfort in knowing that you gave him lots of love and a great life.

mgulfcoastguy, glad your dog is going to be okay after that scare. 9lbs is a big weight loss.

A friend of ours raises French Bulldogs. She couldn't handle seeing me broken over Hershey. This morning she gave me Brutus. Wasn't ready for another pup but he is fitting right in.

spike , sorry about the loss of Hershey and congratulations on the new pup, but as much I as like French Bulldogs, I need to let you know that they are possibly the most expensive dogs to own. They are lovely and good natured, but they rack medical bills like no other breed. If possible, get pet insurance.
