2023 was so bad if I didn't show some early enthusiasm I may not even try gardening for a while. So earliest ever list of tomatoes and peppers:
Reds: Box Car Willie, Fred Limbaugh's Potato Top, Neve's Azorean Red, Domingo, Tsarskiy Lubmets
Pinks: Big Ben #1, Cowlick's Brandywine, Brimmer, Butterbaugh, Dot's Delight, Giant Belgium, Soldaki, Willow's Bulgarian
Yellow/Bi-color: Jeanine's Heart, Orange Russian #117
Black: Carbon, Kan-Tex Sweetheart(? is this correct), Maggie Mater.
Red Heart: Amizilettii's Giant Red Heart, Anzhela Gigante, Bobbie, Linnie's Oxheart, Rozovyi Kilogrammov
Pink Heart: Anna Russian, Mom's Heart, Pappy Kerns Pink Heart, Kukla Portuguese Heart
Salad Size: Stupice, Compari (grow out from store bought tomato)
Peppers: Giant Aconcagua, Chablis, Corno Di Toro Yellow, Fat-n-Sassy, Peppi Red, Peppi Yellow, Red, Yellow and Red Snacker from store bought hybrid, Giant Sweet Devil's Horn Orange, KL-C red
I will try zucchini, some decorative gourds and Orange-glo watermelon without much hope for getting a crop, but I try anyway.
Mrs PaulF ordered a whole pile of flowers that will get an early start along with the tomatoes and peppers

That's all?? Well, last year I cut back on tomatoes from a normal? Thirty plants to twenty and look what I got…fewer than half lived to have fruits. This year I am taking no chances. Maybe It will grow up to forty plants.

So far I only know 2 varieties I am growing for sure:
1. Big Beef Tomato; 2. Striato di Napoli Zucchini.
I have enough space for 15 tomato plants total, but haven't made my mind up yet and probably won't until the end of March.

Right now nothing. I might raise some Rosita eggplants if any of my relatives express interest.

Nice varieties, Paul! I'm still far from a list, just some probable names running through my head now and then. Since giving up on tomatoes in the woods garden, I only have slots for around 40-45 in my front beds, depending on how close I decided to space in the dwarf/early row and the cherry row. Of course there are always some pots for overflow. Gone are the days of growing 2 of each variety "just in case."

I will fill some seed trays with potting mix and sit down with the trays, some plant labels, and my collection of seeds. I'll make my list based on what seeds make it into the dirt. I am planning to do that probably next week.
