The seeds of my Listada came from Linda(roper2008). This is my favorite non-italian variety of eggplant. fruits are egg shaped and have beautiful striped skin. flavor is not as bitter as my other italian aubergines.

I just bought these from Seed Savers and I'm looking forward to giving eggplants a go. My dad has requested some and I chose these because they are supposed to be milder and do well where it's very hot. Hmmmm....central Texas.....yeah..we can do hot.

I found Listada di Gandia was less seedy than Antigua but not as productive nor as hardy. I'm still looking for the pentultimate striped Italian eggplant.
