How many of you juice what you grow My favorite morning wake up juice drink is carrot juice cocktail. 6 carrots washed & peeled, 3 stalks of celery washed, 1 or 2 cloves of garlic, 1/2 a beet can be added. I use a Jack La Lane Juicer & a Juice Man Jr. Juicer.

How many of you juice what you grow Only for winemaking. ;D I prefer smoothies from whole raw fruits and veggies with the benefits of the fiber and other stuff, rather than just juice. ~Dig

One needs to be careful with juicing. It is easy to ingest too much sugar. Carrots and beets are high glycemic vegetables. I would use fewer carrots and add kale or cabbage to that mix to lighten the sugar load. As juice is a highly concentrated food, it is important to increase water consumption when juicing. It is also a good idea to use organic products for juicing because juice is a concentrated food.
