Another cloche.
I've moved away from cow-hampshire, and back into the realm of Dorothy Gale, I'm going to have to cobble something of this stripe as I may never see another tornado, but it's hanger-on of hail stones is sure to be right around the corner in this little niche.

I have no idea what that means ...

Um Dorothy Gale, tornadoes, hail storms. Now mebee they don't get them in the big mitten.
Tornadoes, especially the big 'uns can scour a mile wide path of utter destruction. A garden getting hit with one is sorta an anti-lottery winner, ie terrible but not that likely. Getting smaller plants kicked to death by a hail storm is too possible, that weather pattern can be many orders larger.
Been within 100 yards of a tornado, so I figure I've maxed out for them...
Cloche is about all there is for plant protection vs hail.
