And that's an understatement, if there ever was one! I uncovered my peppers for the last time - the ones I keep covered to keep the pepper maggot flies off. The flies are gone by the end of July, so I wait a week, then uncover, and there are incredible numbers of peppers under there, many just starting to ripen. Here's a slideshow of the peppers so far.

Nice harvest. I'm lucky to get a couple of pods per plant so your few is too many for me.

Ciao Dave-
Wow, that's awesome! I really really hope you're planning to save seeds from your Hanoi Market and Super Thai. I would love to trade with you this fall for some of those! Great growing!

I had 9 trays of peppers in my dehydrator from the first harvest, and this harvest was well over double the first! And I went out there today (before MORE rain, that is coming down now!), and there were flowers open all over many of those plants, triggered by my pulling all of those ripe peppers. Nothing stops those things!
BTW, today I cut up a bunch of those fresnos to dry (they are so thick fleshed, they really need to be halved), and I also cut one of those Serranos Tampiquenos in half, to see if I needed to do the same, and the aroma was incredible! I had two trays of fresnos I had just cut up, so there were all those peppers in half, yet the one Serrano Tampiqueno had such an incredible aroma that it was the main thing I could smell. I smelled a fresno up close, then a Serrano Tampiqueno, then a fresno, and the fresno smelled dead! So I popped one of the Serranos, just to see what it tasted like by itself, and it was delicious - not too hot...maybe 10k - but an intense pepper flavor. I had eaten a few of them green, in salsas, but not red. I'll have to find some more uses for this, and sample it in something dried. I'll get back to you on this.
