Does everybody realize that what you post on a Pro Boards forum can be usurped by Pro Boards? They can claim the copyright, they can republish for financial gain, anything posted on their forums. Did you read the Terms of Agreement carefully when you signed on? My point, don't give up your rights. Know the copyright law and use it when you post your stories, your plant genetics work, your recipes, poems, photos, whatever.

I know from other forums one can take a photo into a photo editing program before posting and put their name/name of business/initials... on it. One forum I'm on many of the people sell their photos, so when posting for casual viewing they put the name all over in a very light color ( similar to watermark). Yes it is a bit distracting, but worth it. I would also think a person who writes say a beautiful blog could, write first in a word program, then scan it, then take it to photo editing and put similar water mark type images. I know if I wrote a wonderful blog, I might be thinking of a book and want the writing claimed as mine. or sign each blog entry as the property of and put a copyright symbol.
