Good read, dld. I prefer to pick my poisons, not have them slipped into my food.

that is a good one, it looks like about the only way to know what is in your food lately is to grow it yourself

Good article. There's groups out there fighting against nutricide & genomicide - that's what they call it - because food is being altered & the quality of food (our forefathers enjoyed) isn't there anymore. Multi nationals, plus others, are destroying the quality of food we get these days - sad to say.
Yeh, I hear ya. Reading labels doesn't tell you what you need to know but it's all we have right now. We need to have GMOed foods labelled & instead of vague hints at what's inside, we need to get full disclosure. It's sad when we can't trust the food that we pay our hard earn money to have.
For example: MSG is under various names making it hard for people trying to avoid that to be sure of anything that they eat.
Yeh, growing, as long as the law allows it. There's laws happening giving various governments the legal right to control food so seed saving & growing your own could one day be against the law (I belive New Zealand is considering doing just that). I don't want to sound 'political' but sometimes when you share information it can be interpretted that way so up front - not being political so don't take it that way - okay? Just making comment on the topic.

Outstanding article! A video that has been out for a while, "The World According to Monsanto", vividly shows the corruption in our food-safety programs. I know you can purchase a copy of the video on Ebay for just a few dollars, or possibly seen for free on YouTube. : )
