We have 2 at home right now. Both are Austrailian Shepherds but one is a 94# blue merle full size Aussie named Festud and the other one is a 13# red merle Mini Aussie named Rowdy. They are quite a pair to watch. They look like Spike the Bulldog and Chester his side kick. Festus is getting old and set in his ways and the little guy just goes out there and runs circles around him... it is funny to watch

I rescue abandoned dogs, usually puppies which townies come out to this rural area and dump/abandon. The newest one has me laughing all of the time. She was five months old when she showed up here at the end of September. She is full grown at eleven pounds now, a Chihuahua/Yorkshire cross. I am not used to small dogs. My 40 pound heeler/Jack Russel terrier cross had the nickname of little dog, being the smallest in the pack. (According to my life with dogs, 40 pounds is a small dog.) Now, when I say "hey, little dog" both of these two come running to me. There are nine dogs in the pack, plus two cats.
