What is your choice this year, and what did you use to base your decision on!

I grow Wakefield Early Jersey as it is fairly fast and the small heads are just the right size for the three of us.

I'm trying Tronchuda this year. I thought it looked interesting. If I can only keep the cabbage worms off of them.

Dutch late flathead. I've finaly got one of my fussier eaters taking in regular cabbage in their ramien. I'll start taking them early and spread harvest out as far as I can.
Cabbage looper probably will grow big enough here to take a saddle, so the spray bottle will have to stay handy.

Danish Ballhead, Early Jersey Wakefield, Filderkraut, and Jung's Triplet Babies. If count is right, 79 total are planted.

I'm trying cabbage again after many years, same variety as you are - Dutch Late Flathead[glow=red,2,300][/glow][glow=red,2,300][/glow]. Only because I got some free seed from Baker Creek with my order. Nice of them to always give free seed. They introduced me to Muscade Carrot that way - free gift! I know what you mean about the insects. This year I am going to try diatomaceous earth + just covering the plants with a net when the damn moths appear. Good luck to us!

Blend, Early Jersey, Wakefield, Point One, Red Express. For Napa cabbage I have Rubicon and Soloist. I am hoping to get some easy, early heads and then a long harvest window. I will be doing 2 spring plantings and one for fall.
