Admins, I have a question regarding Incoming Private Messages here. I have my Preferences set for a) Email notification and b) that cute little Popup that jumps out at me when I visit the site. But there is no Message box clickie in the toolbar at the top with Home, New Topics, Help, etc. If I choose Not to Receive that Popup, will I get an Inbox in the toolbar??

I'm not sure how that works, but you can check it by scrolling down to Forum Statistics in the right side.

Where do we find the 'Forum Statistics in the right side.' Are you referring to the right side of the home page, or the right side of our profiles?
I suspect since you are the admin, you have more accesses then us members do.
I have been wondering how we can get to our inbox, or outbox, to read messages, I know I have a pre-read message in my inbox, but no way to get to it.
There needs to be a button across the top to take us to our messages.

If you scroll down to the "info center" at the bottom of the home page there is a section called Forum Statistics and look to the right side you will see Your Personal Messages: x New: x

Thanks Daylilly. It is much easier on the top. Other then that, I sure love this phorum, especially "no politics allowed". I like the way it is layed out. Keep up the good work.

When my grandmother migrated to 'the Americas', (for health reasons), she lived in Churchill. After a few winters, she realized that that was not what her doctors had in mind, so she moved south to Manitoba. Before you chime in and say "But Churchill is in Manitoba", you need to realize that at that time, Churchill was in Prince Rupert Land, not Manitoba. She finally setteled in southern California, much to the benefit of her health.

Rin, You'd didn't specify how old your Grandmother is so how are we supposed to know that Churchill was in some territory I've never heard of?? The last I heard, Prince Rupert was in Northern British Columbia so not even close to Manitoba. That's like saying you live next door to Pharmer Phil. Okay, I just googled Rupert's Land. It was a territory in the Hudson Bay Area between 1670 and 1869. So if your Grandmother lived there, you must be really really old....

When she lived there, it had been ceeded to the Northwest Territories, but was still often referred to as Rupert's Land, or Prince Rupert's Land. She moved out around 1912ish...the Titanic was often on her mind, as she had made the crossing a few years prior. She died shortly before her 90th birthday...not bad for somebody whose doctors said she would probably never see her 17th b-day
