I have a question and am not sure where to post it. I have early lettuce planted in fastened to the porch railings. It's supposed to get down to 27 degrees tonight. Will that temperature kill my lettuce? It has only been up for about a week now.

Hi, Grandmapudgie.
It's midnight and I just saw your post. As lettuce is a cool weather crop, it should be fine. If you covered your lettuce, that would be good and give you piece of mind.
Happy gardening.

Your lettuce will do great! My lettuce has been out since September and temps have dropped down to 10' at the lowest this winter. Still going strong...!
